Lili Reinhart Speaks Out About Death Threats Aimed at 'Riverdale' Co-Star Vanessa Morgan

Earlier this week, Vanessa Morgan revealed that she’s been receiving death threats from die-hard Bughead shippers online — and that it not okay with Lili Reinhart.

“It’s half death threats because they don’t want that [actually] happening, and there’s half that’s just all love,” Vanessa told Glamour in an interview.

She adds, “Who knows if [my character coming between Bughead] is even going to happen. People are just jumping to conclusions.”

While Vanessa seemingly brushed it all off, Lili isn’t having it.

“The fact that Vanessa is getting death threats because of her character *possibly* causing problems for the Bughead, is seriously f***ed up,” she wrote on tumblr. “If you see this happening, please stop it or report it.”

She adds, “This is a fictional couple, for god’s sake. This does not constitute sending death threats to my friend and fellow castmate.”
