Isabela Moner Shares Experience From UNICEF Peru Trip

Isabela Moner is opening up about her recent trip to Peru with UNICEF.

The 16-year-old Transformers: The Last Knight actress was “humbled and honored to be part of this” trip to Iquitos, Peru with filmmaker and friend Marco Zunino.

“Us entertainers have a greater responsibility rather than acting and singing,” she told JJJ. “We have a bigger voice and collectively we can all change the world. My message to you is to stay informed, stay active. Know what’s going on outside the four walls of your house, know what’s going on in your community, because one person can make a difference.”

“This was my UNICEF Peru experience. Humbled and honored to be part of this,” she continued. “Eager to work. Inspired by the kids my age whom I met there, working so hard to make a difference in their communities with the little resources that they have with the help of UNICEF. The yearly floods they face, the spread of Zika, and no access to education won’t stop them!”

“Teens can make a difference. It’s happening in Peru and it’s happening here. Let’s make it happen everywhere. Let’s bring change!!”
