Cole Sprouse Teases What's Ahead for Jughead in 'Riverdale' Season 2

Cole Sprouse is spilling all the tea he possibly can when it comes to Jughead and Riverdale season two.

In a new Reddit AMA, the actor opened up about Jughead’s future for the upcoming season.

“He takes a strong neutral-good stance, and is now described as the soul of Riverdale,” Cole says of his character. “He favors and admires anyone who has a history of making the right decisions in compromising scenarios, and favors his childhood friends.”

He adds, “Jughead’s objection with interfering as part of season one is the thing that will change the most. His fear of interaction is now something he has to face firsthand, and with it, his eventual understanding that his actions will always piss one person off.

“His don’t care attitude which we get more in season two is very ‘digest Jughead’.”

Cole also revealed that this new season will be much more True Detective-esque, and Jughead will team up with best friend Archie for it.

Hmmm, we’re game.

Riverdale returns on Wednesday, October 11th @ 8PM ET/PT on The CW.
