Riverdale's Veronica & Archie Are Dealing With A Lot Together, KJ Apa Says

KJ Apa gives us a charming smile in this pic from his Teen Vogue feature.

The Riverdale star opened up about the future of Varchie (Veronica and Archie) in season two, since we know they’re a hot and heavy item now.

“Both of them are experiencing something completely new in their lives for the very first time,” KJ says about the characters. “It’s interesting exploring that with Veronica as well, which is cool.”

While Archie is dealing with his own dad being shot, Veronica is dealing with hers coming back into her life; and Archie is also dealing with her dad too, since he is the boyfriend.

“There’s a lot of funny things in there between us that completely show that side,” KJ adds, speaking of his scenes with Mark Consuelos. “I think any kind of storylines with your girlfriend’s dad is always gonna be fun.”

Hiram, KJ says is “a very protective man. That was really fun, playing with that with Mark.”

Riverdale returns next week on Wednesday, October 11th on The CW.
