'Arrow' Season 6 Premiere Recap: Which Team Arrow Members Survived?

Arrow did us all a favor last night and didn’t drag out the finding out of which Team Arrow members survived and didn’t survive.

Felicity (Emily Bett Rickards), Diggle (David Ramsey), Rene (Rick Gonzalez), Curtis (Echo Kellum), and Dinah (Juliana Harkavy) all made it out of the big explosion set off on Lian Yu at the end of season five.

However, it was revealed that Thea (Willa Holland) is in a coma and Samantha (Anna Hopkins) died.

Speaking with EW afterwards, Emily and David both shared that there would be lasting effects on them all.

“Right after Oliver and his son, probably of the team, easily Diggle is the most affected,” David shares. “There’s a major physical deficit that he has that we play out for a good portion of the beginning part of the season.”

He adds, “It affects him, it affects the team and his relationship with Oliver and his wife. He gets injured, he’s injured in this whole catastrophe and he’s hiding it.”

As far as Felicity is concerned, Emily shares that “she just goes right back into the team and is hopefully trying to find her purpose in starting a company and maybe doing some good in the world again.”
