'Croods' Sequel Revived & Finds New Director - Details

Best news ever — the Croods sequel has been revived and just found a new director!

The new animated film will be helmed by Joel Crawford and the flick is set for release on September 18th, 2020, THR reports.

Yes, it is a long way away, BUT, we still take this as a good sign because the entire film was revived after being cancelled last year.

Nicolas Cage, Emma Stone and Ryan Reynolds will all return for the film, as well as Catherine Keener, Cloris Leachman and Clark Duke. Leslie Mann is also joining the cast.
