Maddie Ziegler Has More Ideas For Even More Fiction Books (Exclusive)

Just this week, Maddie Ziegler launched her first fiction book with “The Audition” — and she was really excited to be able to write it at such a young age.

“It was awesome to getting to write a fiction series,” the 15-year-old dancer and actress told JJJ in a recent interview. “I never thought that I’d get to write a book at all.”

She adds, “Getting to do ‘The Maddie Diaries’, which was a memoir, that was insane. That was already such a huge accomplishment for myself and then the publishing house came to me about the fiction series and that was incredible.”

Maddie says that after writing the first in her fiction series, she’s now thinking about other ideas for more books.

“There are plenty of books that I now see myself writing in the future and there are plenty of ideas for that, but for the first ones, it had to be about dance,” she shared. “Dance is my life.”

“I’ve done it since I was two-years-old and it is the thing I know the most. I’m very honored that I got this opportunity to write about dance.”
