Dinah Jane Sings Tongan National Anthem at Rugby World Cup - Watch Now!

Dinah Jane had a very special honor this weekend!

The 20-year-old Fifth Harmony singer got the chance to sing the Tongan National Anthem during the Rugby League World Cup!

Dinah, whose grandparents are from Tonga, said performing the song for the first time live was a huge honor.

“I know that this anthem means more than just an anthem it’s you representing your people, your culture and it’s definitely a prayer,” Dinah told TVNZ.

She also got the chance to sing the anthem to her grandparents before her performance on the field.

“I performed it for him for the very first time before I flew down. He was just all in tears and just to make him proud means the absolute most to me…They grew up in Tonga and for them to see their granddaughter who is living in America, living her dream and singing their anthem makes them so proud,” Dinah added.
