Lucy Hale Reveals 'Life Sentence' Character Stella & PLL's Aria Have Similar Style

Lucy Hale is opening up about her brand new show, Life Sentence, through a little style.

Speaking with InStyle magazine, the 28-year-old actress revealed that her character, Stella’s style is a bit similar to Aria Montgomery’s.

“I love my wardrobe on Life Sentence, and they’re kind of similar in a way,” she shared. “Aria definitely had a pretty particular sense of style, you could say. I’ll always like that the most about her.”

For Life Sentence, Lucy says that Stella will “definitely stand out in the crowd.”

“She will try anything, but she’s got more of a vintage vibe,” she adds. “We go with a lot of retro looks, and she wears a lot of really bright colors and loud patterns. It’s very different from how I dress in real life, but totally works for the character. She’s really optimistic and full of life and a very happy person, and I think that her clothes reflect that.”

Life Sentence, whose premiere date still has yet to be announced, will debut in the new year on The CW.
