Riverdale's Skeet Ulrich Picked A Former Co-Star to Play Jughead's Mom & She's Perfect

We’ve had talks about who should play Jellybean, Jughead’s younger sister on Riverdale — but none about his actual mother, until now.

Skeet Ulrich, who plays FP Jones on the series, dished to TVLine about which former co-star of his he would tap to play Jughead’s missing mom, who headed off to Toledo ahead of the pilot and hasn’t been seen or heard from sense.

“I think Neve [Campbell] would be really interesting,” Skeet shared. “I know she’s busy doing some films and stuff like that, so I don’t know if that’s a possibility, but yeah, I think she’d be very intriguing.”

If you don’t know, Skeet and Neve co-starred in the Scream films together.

He adds, “She’s very talented, and I think the reference to Scream would really tickle people.”

Riverdale will return on Wednesday, January 17th on The CW.
