The Flash's Keiynan Lonsdale Wouldn't Say No To A Wally West Spinoff

In the first half of The Flash‘s season four, we saw Wally West get completely heartbroken by his superhero girlfriend, Jesse Quick — and it was then that the character stepped away from the team.

The temporary exit caused many fans to question whether Keiynan Lonsdale was leaving the show and if Wally would be joining DC’s Legends of Tomorrow — but neither is true.

Not even a spinoff about Wally is happening, although, Keiynan wouldn’t say no.

“I don’t expect a Wally West spin off, but it would be cool,” he told Kode mag in his new feature.

He adds about Wally’s future: “Wally and I are in a similar place, he’s on the path to finding himself and he’s giving himself the space to grow and learn beyond what he currently knows.”

“I think it would be awesome to see that journey, to see where his travels take him, and to find out what being a superhero actually means to him,” Keiynan adds. “You can have powers & save the world, but what if even that didn’t fulfill you anymore? You’d need to reassess your values and your views on life.”

The Flash returns NEXT WEEK on Tuesday, January 16th @ 8PM ET/PT on The CW.
