Zendaya's Stylist Law Roach Calls Her His 'Annoying Little Sister' & Reveals His Favorite Look of Hers Yet

Zendaya is no doubt a major fashion star — she’s been that for years, thanks to help from her longtime stylist and friend, Law Roach.

Speaking with TeenVogue, Law opened up about his relationship with The Greatest Showman star, saying that she’s more of “an annoying little sister than just a client.”

He adds that she really is more than that — “she’s also my fashion soulmate. Our relationship has a very give-and-take [dynamic]” — and that it’s all about compromise.

“Sometimes she doesn’t always love the final choice, but we have this thing where we compromise,” he says. “Sometimes if she lets me win on hair and makeup, I’ll let her win on the dress the next go around.”

Law continues, “But even if she doesn’t love it, she understands why I love it and why I think it’s the best one. And at this point I have a 99.9% approval rating.”

Law picked Zendaya‘s latest look — in Moschino — at the Sydney premiere of The Greatest Showman that was his absolute favorite.

“I told Zendaya that I had this amazing dress, this butterfly dress, and the first thought is a dress with butterflies on it,” he reveals. “Maybe similar to the butterfly print from Versace, or maybe Valentino. But it was actually a butterfly dress.”

“She’s very brave and fearless when it comes to fashion. She said, ‘Oh okay so you actually bought me a butterfly dress. Oh, now I get it.’ So, it was really fun.”

“We jumped around about it for a little while and I thought that would be amazing in Australia because the monarch butterfly is actually there. So I thought it would be a good nod to where we were. It was also very whimsical, the movie is about fantasy and the circus, and I played a little with that. Where else would you get the opportunity to wear that? And it made sense, so we went for it.”
