OlderLauren Jauregui Opens Up Conversation To LGBTQ+ Community on Twitter
This week, Lauren Jauregui started an open conversation on social media that many would be afraid to even start.
The Fifth Harmony musician wrote to her followers on Twitter, asking them “What will you do if your son comes out as GAY?”
Some users said that they would kick the child out of the house or much worse, and others did not.
In response to the former, Lauren stood up to them all, becoming a champion for the LGBTQ+ Community.
“This is such a disgusting display of toxic masculinity & a deep ignorance of the expression of human sexuality,” she wrote. “It is a spectrum that has no shame. It will be painful but it will lead you to your true family. Anyone who can wish this on something they created is deeply troubled.”
