Muser HRVY Opens Up About His 'Sound' Changes Daily

Muser HRVY heads out of BBC’s Radio 2 studios after an interview in London on Friday (February 9).

The musician recently opened up with Metro about his evolving sound and how his brand new track, “Personal” came about.

“We were in the studio and one of our friends played the hook of a song and I loved it,” HRVY, born Harvey Cantwell, shared about the song.

He continues, “The hook was ‘don’t take it personal’ and I was like ‘I need this song, I love this chorus’. We messed around with the versus and pre chorus, changed the lyrics, changed the melody, and then reproduced it slightly…the tag had already come up and I was like I need this song.”

But as much as we all love the sound of “Personal”, HRVY says his sound changes daily.

“I think my songs are getting slightly more mature, but they’re fun,” he shared. “They might change depending on how I feel but I don’t really know my sound, my sound is kind of whatever I feel like on the day.”
