'Descendants 3' Greenlit; Will Reveal Just Who Mal's Father Is

After two very vague, but interesting teasers earlier this week, Disney finally made the big announcement about Descendants — and it’s exactly what you think it is!

DESCENDANTS 3 IS HAPPENING!!!

In the video announcement, Mal gets a message from her unnamed, and mysterious villain father — a mystery that’s plagued fans since the first film.

Dove Cameron, Cameron Boyce, Sofia Carson, Booboo Stewart, Mitchell Hope and China Anne McClain will all return for the third film, set to start production later this summer.

Descendants 3 is set to premiere in 2019.
