Matt Sallee is the new kid on the block when it comes to Pentatonix, and now we are getting to learn more about him!

The new bass singer of the a Capella group is dishing on how he got into music, his history with Pentatonix, and the rest of the group even shared thoughts on him.

After Matt didn’t get into his first college choice, he heard about the Berkeley College of Music where he then ended up attending for Vocal Performance.

When he was in high school, he went to an a Capella competition and actually got to see Pentatonix perform from the front row.

“Matt is such a joyous human. I love that so much about him, because I think he brings a life and an energy that is so beautiful to this family,” Kevin Olusola said about Matt. “I think as Pentatonix, we want to exude energy and joy into all of our fans and he fits right in when it comes to that.”
