The 18-year-old Australian musician talked with us about the message behind the project, which is about not being silenced by anyone.

“A lot of love went into this project, however, I wanted to make the video quite simple and open to interpretation,” Emily tells us.

“My goal was for viewers to really hear the lyrics and create their own story as opposed to just watching mine. We also wanted the visual to match the intricate beat within the music.”
