Dove Cameron Didn't Like This One Thing About Mal's Wig in 'Descendants 2'

We all remember when Dove Cameron had a wig makeover from Descendants to Descendants 2.

Now, the 22-year-old actress is opening up about her next look for Descendants 3 and just how the wigs are made for her for the films.

The wigs for Mal, Carlos, Evie and more, actually take months to make from scratch.

“What they do is take a mold of your head and these wigs takes months to make,” Dove shared in a recent chat with J-14. However the look for “Descendants 2 was all me.”

She continues, “They made a big crazy purple wig from scratch and asked me what I thought about it,” she adds. “I showed them a pic of a girl with straight, long [hair], [and] blunt bangs.”

The only thing that she didn’t like? The color!

“I didn’t like that it was lighter,” Dove says, revealing that when some fans saw the lighter purple as pink, she knew that was going to happen.

So for Descendants 3, she has a clear vision.

“For the third film, I want it to be really violet, really purple.”
