Former 'Shake It Up' Star Caroline Sunshine Joins White House Press Team

Caroline Sunshine is really shaking things up now, and heading straight to the White House.

CNN reports that the 22-year-old former actress is now working as a press assistant at the White House.

Caroline moved up the ranks at the White House after previously serving as an intern, a role she landed by applying through the White House website.

Caroline Sunshine was a White House intern. In college, she was involved with the American Enterprise Institute and an active member of her school’s Model United Nations team. Prior to her internship at the White House, Caroline interned for the Office of House Majority Leader Kevin McCarthy, the College Republican National Committee and the California Republican Party,” White House spokeswoman Lindsay Walters told CNN in a statement.

If you remember, Caroline starred as Tinka opposite Zendaya and Bella Thorne on Shake It Up.

Caroline was a student at Claremont McKenna College where she studied international relations and economics.
