Cole Sprouse Opens Up About What Lies Ahead For Jughead on 'Riverdale' Season 2 Finale

It’s safe to say that Jughead isn’t the best liked guy in town on Riverdale this season, and Cole Sprouse is imagining that the season two finale isn’t going to be kind to him.

Speaking with Glamour recently, the 25-year-old actor previewed that Jughead’s “enemies” might catch up to him.

“I can’t say much about the finale, but I will say that Jughead’s made a lot of enemies in season two,” he shared. “Big ones. His war path has put a target on his back and he’s put in a very vulnerable position and has a lot of eyes on him, and I think it all comes to a head.”

However, if you’re worried about the fate of Bughead on top of that, don’t be. They’re going to be alright.

“They’re both dealing with huge issues, massive, mind-breaking issues, and I think they still try to hold on to that communication that makes them strong,” Cole adds. “I think the end [of season two] is a good [place] for them.”

Riverdale‘s season two finale won’t air until May on The CW.
