Kelsea Ballerini steps out for her interview on SiriusXM Radio on Thursday morning (April 5) in New York City.
While chatting about her newest single, “I Hate Love Songs”, the 24-year-old musician opened up about her absolute favorite love songs and what elements make a perfect love song.
“I feel like when you can listen to it and it makes you think of a moment,” she shared. “It makes you think of a moment that you’ve had with someone or that you danced to…if it brings you back to a place.”
Kelsea added about her own single, “I feel like the world and society has painted love to be like a rom-com…it’s all glittery and hyped up for one day a year; and that’s not what it is.”
