Lucy Hale Still Gets Mistaken For Selena Gomez

Lucy Hale can’t escape getting identified as other actresses.

The actress and singer dished about who she gets mistaken for, mostly Selena Gomez, and who she thinks she looks like.

“When I was younger, it was a lot of Selena Gomez, during her ‘Wizards of Waverly Place‘ days,” she told Insider. “Usually, I would correct them, but I remember there was this one time, it was this older lady in an airport, and she was like, ‘Can I get a picture with you?’ I thought that she thought I was Lucy. Afterward she started listing off the projects that she liked of mine and I quickly realized that she thought I was Selena. And I kind of just went with it because I didn’t want to crush her dreams.”

“There’s a group of girls that all kind of look similar,” Lucy admitted. “I get Sarah Hyland or Rachel Bilson or Maisie Williams. There’s a crop of us that all have a similar vibe.”

As for who she thinks she really looks like, “Maybe a little Selena. Sometimes I get Kylie Jenner, but when she was younger. Me and Sarah are both petite with big eyes.”
