Adam Rippon had a special guest with him at the 2018 Time 100 Gala on Tuesday night (April 24) in New York City – his mom, Kelly!
The 28-year-old figure skater hit the red carpet, along with singer (and crush!) Shawn Mendes at the event, where they were both featured on the annual list.

“Still unreal to be one of those named to @time 100,” Adam wrote on Instagram afterwards. “…and give a toast honoring my mom for being the person who has inspired me the most.”
He added, “Also, during my toast, it was a great opportunity for me to let everyone know that @nicolekidman told me smell @keithurban and he smelled great.”
