Amandla Stenberg & KJ Apa's New Movie 'The Hate U Give' To Premiere in October

The Hate U Give finally has a release date!

Variety reports that the film, starring Amandla Stenberg, KJ Apa, Sabrina Carpenter and more, will hit big screens on October 19th, 2018.

Based on Angela Thomas’ bestselling novel of the same name, The Hate U Give centers on Starr, a 16-year-old girl, who grew up in a poverty-stricken area, but now attends a suburban prep school.

After she witnesses a police officer shoot her unarmed best friend, she’s torn between her two very different worlds as she tries to speak her truth
