'Shadowhunters' Showrunner Says Fans Will Be Satisfied By Two-Hour Series Finale

Shadowhunters showrunner Todd Slavkin is trying to give fans some hope about the upcoming series finale.

In a couple of new tweets, he opened up about watching the season three finale and the upcoming series finale.

“Just watched 320, which was supposed to be 3b finale, written by @bryanQmiller directed by @mattdirector and it is so good and so utterly beautiful #tears #noamountoftissues #showhasneverbeenbetter #shadowhunters,” he wrote just days after the news was announced that the show was cancelled.

Just yesterday, Todd added in a somewhat assuring tweet that fans won’t be disappointed with the ending.

“It’s not rushed. Not at all. It’s beautiful. Thanks to the brilliant @ShadowhuntersWR if has to end like this, you all will be deeply satisfied #malec #clace #sizzy #shadowhunters.”

While these tweets bring some comfort, we’re still not giving up hope that the show will be resurrected.
