OlderLaurie Hernandez Graduated High School This Week!
Congrats to Laurie Hernandez!
Although she was homeschooled, the 18-year-old Olympic gymnast and DWTS champ was able to walk in a grad ceremony with Old Bridge High School.
“I did the thing!! #Classof2018 #IDontEvenGoHere #ButIWouldHave #ZoomInOnMyCap,” Laurie posted on Instagram over the weekend in her robes. She looks so happy!
Laurie did call out one troll online who wrote that she didn’t deserve to walk in the procession with the other Class of 2018 students at the high school.
“Ok look,” she started to point out on Twitter. “A) I would’ve gone to OBHS if I wasn’t homeschooled. B) You act like I just completely skipped high school. You do know know that i had to do school throughout my gymnastics career/DWTS right?”
And her last was probably the best: “I was literally born/raised/still in old bridge ! Chill.”
Congrats again Laurie for graduating!
