'Series of Unfortunate Events' Louis Hynes Is Taking a Break From Acting Following Wrapping The Show

It’s such a good thing that A Series of Unfortunate Events is on Netflix and we can binge watch it until eternity, because we probably won’t be seeing Louis Hynes much in other things.

Speaking with Paste magazine, the -year-old actor revealed that he’d be taking a step back to focus on his education.

“The hardest thing for me on set is probably trying to balance school and work. Education is really important to me and I have some big exams to do a few days after I get back from filming,” he shared about how hard it was to go to school on set.

“I will probably take a little break and focus on school and real life for a bit,” Louis added. “I think I will try and see what I can do in school holidays, but I really want to go to university and get a decent education and that will come first for the next few years.”

He’ll still be on the lookout for new projects though.

“That isn’t to say that if the right project came along I would necessarily turn it down, but I don’t think I will do something that takes as much commitment as ASOUE until at least after school,” Louis says. “I hope I will be able to continue acting in the school holidays and on shorter length productions for a while.”

If you missed it, Louis just reunited with his Unfortunate sister Malina Weissman!
