Zoey Deutch Joins Ben Platt in Netflix Series 'The Politician'

Zoey Deutch is joining the cast of the upcoming Netflix series The Politician, which will also star Ben Platt!

Also added to the cast is Laura Dreyfuss, who just wrapped up her run in Dear Evan Hansen on Broadway. She worked with Ben on the musical for years.

The Politician is the new series from Ryan Murphy and Brad Falchuk, best known for creating Glee, American Horror Story, and more.

This is Zoey‘s second project for Netflix after her hit rom-com Set It Up was released last month.

Production on the series begins in late summer, according to THR.
