Katelyn Tarver Shares Meaning Behind The Songs on New 'Kool Aid' EP
Katelyn Tarver just dropped her brand new ep Kool Aid!
The 28-year-old Ballers actress and singer also shared the meaning behind each song.
Among those include the title track, which is about wanting “to be successful and liked and sometimes that feels like it can be accomplished by trying to be more like someone else. It never works. Trust yourself and stop trying to please everyone.”
Another notable track is called “Don’t Let It Change You”, which is “about hitting that point in life where you thought things would look a certain way, and they don’t. It’s easy to get stuck there. Remember what’s important, take a breath, & don’t let the fear of the future ruin now.”

LABELS: I wrote this song with one of my faaaves @jhartmusic. It's about breaking out of the box you've been put in, and doing that thing you don't think you're capable of. Because YOU ARE. https://t.co/ucPjiX86SQ

NEVER FADE: I wrote this one with @SirLandonJ about feeling helpless in the face of someone else's pain. Knowing you can’t do anything to make what they’re going through any less hard, but you can sit beside them & wait for it to get a little easier. https://t.co/dgumfQ2AZN

LY4L: Wrote this with @wrabel about the exuberant, giddy side of love. The magic that comes with knowing someone’s got your back & loves you for you. If you have that with someone, be cheesy! Be giddy! Who cares! Life is hard & love is beautiful. https://t.co/hbbECsV7pK

DROWN WITH YOU: This song is about trying to fight through the hard times that all relationships inevitably face. Essentially, if we’re going down, at least we’re going down together. Depressing but still hopeful? My brand?https://t.co/2pUtGXp1yV
