Stephen Amell Says 'Arrow' Could Go On Without Him

Wait, WHAT?!

Stephen Amell put us into a temporary state of shock when he said that Arrow could continue without Oliver Queen.

The actor made an appearance on the Inside of You podcast and talked about the CW show, as well as what could be in the future.

When talking about what else Arrow has to achieve, Stephen said, “This is what I’ve been thinking about: What else does my character have to do? Like what else?” Show host Michael Rosenbaum, who played Lex Luthor on the show, replied with, “Die.”

“I find it incredibly difficult to believe that would ever happen – I don’t know that anyone would allow themselves to be cornered by killing the title character of the show,” Stephen added.

“The only thing that is left for him to do – and he doesn’t need to die to do this – is he needs to leave a legacy. Because we have all these other shows that exist,” he continued. “So whether Arrow continued on in the absence of Oliver Queen, or someone else took up the mantle of the Green Arrow… I think leaving a legacy is the last box left to tick for the character.”
