Katherine McNamara Joins 'Arrow' Season 7!

Shadowhunters might be over for Katherine McNamara, but she isn’t straying far from the action fantasy genre – she just joined Arrow!

TVLine reports that the 22-year-old actress has joined the upcoming season in a “pivotal recurring role.”

Katherine will reportedly star in the first half of the season as Maya, a “scrappy street fighter and thief from Star City.”

The site also shared that the character was likened to “Buffy, the Superhero Slayer” in the unofficial casting notice.
