Joshua Rush Volunteers For Congressman Beto O'Rourke Ahead of Voting Education Houston Visit

If you didn’t know, the 17-year-old Andi Mack actor is extremely passionate about politics and is currently helping to get young people out to vote in their local elections.

During his most recent hiatus from the show, Joshua took his first trip without his parents to Washington D.C. and visited a ton of places, including the halls and floor of the Senate where he met with his local Congresswoman Karen Bass (California’s 37th District).

There, she introduced him to Congressman Beto O’Rourke and he shadowed at PBS and ABC News during its coverage of the George Papadopoulos sentencing hearing.

Josh is now working with the campaign on his own.

Next week, Josh is volunteering with O’Rourke supporters in Houston neighborhoods and will be inviting his young fans and their parents to come meet him in the late afternoon as he conducts a block walk and works phone banks.
