Lucy Hale will play herself in a new movie?!

The former Life Sentence actress has booked the lead role of Lucy Neal in the indie romantic comedy A Nice Girl Like You, Deadline reports.

Lucy is an adorable, follow-the-rules, somewhat repressed, well-educated violinist who is thrown for a loop when she is accused of being too inhibited by her ex-boyfriend.

In an effort to prove him wrong, Lucy creates a rather wild to-do list that sends her on a whirlwind journey of self-discovery, friendship, and new love.

A Nice Girl Like You, which is based on a true story by Ayn Carillo-Gailey, will begin filming this month in New Jersey.
