DWTS Juniors' Pro Lev Khmelev Is Already In College!

During the premiere of Dancing With The Stars Juniors last week, we got to meet Lev Khmelev, one of the many junior pros on the program.

After he and his partner, chef Addison Osta Smith, were eliminated, the 12-year-old dancer is opening up to Popcorn Talk’s To The Pointe with Kristyn Burtt about the process, his continued friendship with Addison and more.

“She was really upbeat the whole entire time,” Lev says about Addison during the premiere. “When we were standing on the platform and Keo [Motsepe] was there with us. She said it was OK if we get eliminated or if we go through. Anything is good because this show has done a lot of cool things for us.”

We love that Lev has a good attitude about it all – and so was Addison!

In fact, he also shared that since her time on the series, Addison actually started taking dance lessons.

“I am really proud of her. She was put on the dance team. It’s not just she just did the show and danced a little bit,” he shared. “It keeps going on [for her], just like the dance spirit!”

For Lev, now he’s back in college – yes, college.

“I am a freshman in college. I am turning 13 next week,” he shared. “I am taking online classes. I am almost done with my first semester. I am taking political science and I’m taking English 101.”

Dancing With The Stars Juniors airs Sundays @ 8PM ET/PT on ABC.
