Cody Simpson to Make Broadway Debut in 'Anastasia'

You likely have watched the classic animated movie musical Anastasia over and over again at home, but have you seen it yet on stage?

Here’s a reason to see the Broadway musical in New York City… Cody Simpson is joining the cast as Dmitry, the love interest for Anastasia.

Cody will be joining the show on November 29 and he will perform for 11 weeks. His final show is on February 17, 2019.

In a video announcement, Cody strummed the chords to “Journey to the Past” on his guitar and said, “How’s it going guys? I’m Cody Simpson and I just landed in New York City. I’m really excited to announce I’ll be making my Broadway debut as Dmitry in Anastasia. I start on November 29th and I’m really looking forward to seeing you all there at a show. See you soon!”
