Elsie Fisher shows off her award in the press room during the 2018 Gotham Independent Film Awards on Monday (November 26) at Cipriani Wall Street in New York City.

The 15-year-old actress won the Breakthrough Actor award for her role in Eighth Grade at the event. Director Bo Burnham was also nominated for Bingham Ray Breakthrough Director Award.

Elsie was joined at the event by other nominees in the Breakthrough Actor category, including Leave No Trace‘s Thomasin McKenzie.
