Simone Biles Didn't Believe She Was ESPN's Most Dominant Athlete of 2018 At First
Simone Biles is all smiles while arriving for her appearance on Good Morning America in New York City on Tuesday (December 11).
It was just revealed that the 21-year-old gymnast was honored as ESPN‘s Most Dominant Athlete of the year – a fete that she had a hard time believing at first.
“There were a lot of points in this year that made me who I am today,” Simone shared on GMA after the cover reveal.
“I feel stronger and I feel this year gave me a voice. I try to find that voice and use it to the better potential and positive manner.”
Earlier this year, Simone spoke out about being one of the many victims of Larry Nassar, before she made history winning her fourth All-Around Gymnastics World title.
