Inanna Sarkis is bringing attention to all the effects of the constant need to be online in her new short film, Follow Me.

The film, which the -year-old directed, wrote and produced, exposes the false perception of social media and how it’s socially desensitized a generation.

#FollowMe shows the day in the life of a social media famous girl who herself comes from a social media world wanted to send a message and show how our generation has become so consumed in our devices that we’ve forgotten how to live in the moment.

In the last shot, you’ll also spot Samuel Larsen, who stars in After with Inanna.
