Nia Sioux Opens Up About When She Realized Social Media Haters Didn't Matter

Nia Sioux doesn’t let haters on social media get to her anymore.

The 17-year-old actress opened up about an experience that changed her perspective on the negativity she encounters online.

“Last year I was posting a video on Instagram and I was really excited about it and then like five minutes later I got all these really mean comments and it just threw me off,” Nia told YSBnow.

She added, “I was going into work and feeling so overwhelmed and my mom wasn’t with me at the time. I just broke down and started to cry because it was so much.”

Thankfully, it was an learning experience for Nia.

“That’s when I realized that those comments don’t matter and those people are just haters out there who are either just jealous of you or just so negative. It’s really sad that that’s happening but you know you just have to ignore those comments or delete or block them because you don’t need that negativity,” Nia explained.
