Daniella Perkins Reveals Her Grandfather Passed Away in Heartbreaking Instagram

Our thoughts and prayers are with Daniella Perkins and her sister, Devenity, during this difficult time.

The Knight Squad actress revealed to her fans on Instagram today that her grandfather sadly passed away.

“This is one of the most difficult things I’ve ever had to deal with in my entire life,” she started. “Today we put to rest my papa. he passed away january 17. i usually share everything with you guys but this is something my heart will never fully heal from & needed time to really cope. this took my whole family by surprise and it’s still very hard for me to even accept.”

Daniella added, “…He’s the closet thing I’ve ever had to a dad, gave me advice on boys, cars, showed me how to have a work ethic and so much more! I was his little princess superstar way before I got to play one on tv. He made my life absolutely amazing and not having him here is heartbreaking.”

“I haven’t experienced true heartbreak until now. you never know when someone you hold so close to your heart will leave. so spend as much time with your loved ones, make memories, and make each other happy! thank to my knight squad family for letting me leave during filming to say goodbye. love you forever and always papa ❤️.”
