When Michael popped up in the final moments of the season four finale of Jane The Virgin – social media definitely had some thoughts about it – just like the characters are having in the very first promo for the final season.
Jane does a double take, Rogelio faints, and Petra just can’t seem to find the right words to say hi.
Showrunner Jennie Snyder-Urman revealed that Michael is really Michael, and not a long-lost twin at all, in a recent interview.
“It’s suspicion meets with shock meets with the place Michael is currently in…It’s a few things working together that will cause a lot of the drama when we come back,” she said.
The new season will maybe bring a Secret Life of the American Teenager situation too – with Jane choosing herself over Michael or Rafael.
Jane The Virgin premieres on March 27th on The CW.
