Netflix Brings Back 'The Baby-Sitter's Club' For 10-Episode Series

The Baby-Sitter’s Club is officially coming back for a 10-Episode series on Netflix!

The streaming service announced the new series today (February 28), which will center on “female friendship, entrepreneurialism and empowerment.”

Episodes will broach topics from the books such as racism, divorce, and belonging while continuing to push the bar and explore relevant issues facing modern day teens.

Based on the book series of the same name, author Ann M. Martin shared that “I’m amazed that there are so many passionate fans of The Baby-Sitters Club after all these years, and I’m honored to continue to hear from readers – now grown, who have become writers, editors, teachers, librarians, filmmakers – who say that they see a reflection of themselves in the characters of Kristy and her friends.”

She added, “So I’m very excited about the forthcoming series on Netflix, which I hope will inspire a new generation of readers and leaders everywhere.”
