Who Actually Killed Nolan In 'The Perfectionists' Book? Find Out Here!

Let’s all say it – Nolan Hotchkiss is the worst.

The Perfectionists just debuted on Freeform tonight and Nolan, the son of Beacon Heights University’s founder, Claire, was murdered on the campus.

You’re probably wondering just how Nolan is killed in the books of the same name from Sara Shepard, right?

While he ended up impaled on a fence by the end of the premiere.

In the book, the central characters are Ava, Caitlin, Mackenzie, Julie, and Parker, who really aren’t friends in the beginning. But, they have a little John Tucker Must Die moment and come together when they realize how they’ve each been wronged by Nolan in the past.

They jokingly plot to kill him, but never really intended to go through with it. But then, just as they discussed, he’s dead in the same way.

So, who killed him? Click inside to see!

The biggest twist in the book though, is that Julie and Parker are the same person.

It turned out that Parker had been murdered by her abusive father from the beginning of the story, and Julie, overcome with guilt that she didn’t let Parker sleep over the night her father killed her, invents a split personality called “Parker” to cope with her grief.

While in her Parker state, she commits the murder, and is unable to remember any of it.
