Kylie Jenner Addresses Being a 'Self-Made' Billionaire

Kylie Jenner is opening up about being named the “youngest self-made” billionaire in the world.

During a recent interview with New York Times, the 21-year-old makeup mogul opened up about being named Forbes‘ youngest self-made billionaire, while also admitting she didn’t do it all on her own.

“I can’t say I’ve done it by myself,” Kylie shared. “If they’re just talking finances, technically, yes, I don’t have any inherited money. But I have had a lot of help and a huge platform.”

Kylie got her start as a preteen starring on Keeping Up with the Kardashians before launching her ultra-successful Kylie Cosmetics makeup business.

“I didn’t expect anything. I did not foresee the future,” Kylie continued. “But [the recognition] feels really good. That’s a nice pat on the back.”
