Tandy & Tyrone Have Weekly Movie Nights on 'Cloak & Dagger' In Season Two

Season two of Marvel’s Cloak & Dagger is just a few days away and there a lot of things that have changed for heroes Tandy and Tyrone.

One of the new things that we’ll see happening in the show is them having dedicated movie nights together.

“This is a little spoilery, but they have a regular movie night,” showrunner Joe Pokaski shared in a new interview with Collider. “Wednesday nights they set up the projector in the church. It’s lovely.”

He continues that he’s “so in love with their friendship. There was a moment in their lives when they felt like they had no one and they met each other and had this connection that told them that there’s finally one person out there that cares about me and cares enough to be my friend more than anything.”

“There’s no boundaries, there’s no baggage. It’s just Tyrone and Tandy,” Aubrey Joseph says. “I feel like that’s perfect for right now. Obviously it’s Cloak and Dagger so at some point we may see that [romance] but for right now I’m in love with their friendship mostly. Them being best friends is very cool to see.”

Olivia Holt agrees, saying that, “I personally love the journey that they’ve gone on together and watching them develop this relationship as friends.”

“Eventually, if they do get together, then it’s going to be way more special and people are going to respect the fact that they took time to understand each other and understand what they can do together and watching a really unique friendship unfold. That’ll be way more enhanced this season.”
