Hunter Hayes Opens Up About His Relationship With Social Media

Hunter Hayes is all smiles backstage at the Sounds Like Home Raleigh event presented by Ashley Homestore on Thursdsay night (April 4) in North Carolina.

Just recently, the 27-year-old “Heartbreak” singer opened up about his take it or leave it relationship with social media.

“Honestly, I’m not as good at it as I should be,” he told Cody Alan. “As far as letting people in and posting cause, honestly, my habit is like, ‘Why would anyone care?’”

Hunter adds that the things he gravitates towards on platforms are more about “seeing beautiful places and travel blogs and things. But, I could do without it.”

“There is something about it that bothers me when I see someone totally faking this smile in this place that I know that they don’t really want to be. It sounds exhausting.”
