Jeanine Mason Opens Up About Why She Loves Playing Liz on 'Roswell, New Mexico'

Jeanine Mason is in love – with Liz Ortecho.

The actress and dancer is featured in the new issue of Grumpy magazine and chatting all about playing Liz on Roswell, New Mexico.

“I fell in love with her energy and how much of an activist she is, how deeply she cares, how intelligent she is. It all excited me,” Jeanine shared about stepping into her shoes on the CW series.

She continues, “She was a character that I’ve never gotten to play with, and I felt an immense responsibility right off the top to do right by her, and to portray her fully. I didn’t want anyone else to get her. I thought it was my job to bring her to life.”

“When it worked out, we were all so thrilled. It was just an ideal situation. Now that it’s out, and it’s doing well, it’s really a dream.”

Jeanine adds that “there is something about her, [and] I know I’ll never get bored. I’m having such a good time trying to keep up with her, and her energy.”

Roswell, New Mexico airs Tuesdays on The CW.
