Noah Centineo & Laura Marano Can't Stop Gushing Over 'Perfect Date' Co-Star Camila Mendes

It’s safe to say that the cast of The Perfect Date love each other.

In a new interview with Access, Noah Centineo, Laura Marano and Odiseas Georgiadis couldn’t say enough good things about Camila Mendes.

“She’s so awesome,” Laura said. “And she came kind of in the latter half of filming, so we had already gotten really close and this great rapport. You never know. You kind of feel bad when we’ve had a lot more time to connect, and first day — legitimately first day — we’re in Noah’s room talking until 6 a.m.”

Noah also says that “Cami’s super intelligent. She graduated from NYU and she went straight from there to Riverdale, which is such a crazy coincidence with Cole Sprouse. And I think another person on Riverdale as well graduated from NYU, so they were all in the same school, so she’s really, really intelligent and she’s also deeply talented.”

“She’s just awesome through and through, and I’m like, I wish she lived in L.A. more because she films all the time in Vancouver. So I’m just like ‘I love you.’ She’s awesome,” Laura added.

Camila also loves her cast just as much as they love her.

In another interview with Teen Vogue, Cami swooned over working with them on the movie.

“It was really fun. I love Noah, I love Laura. The first day we met, we all stayed up in our hotel room until 8 in the morning,” she recalled. “We were talking about everything, and it was such a beautiful conversation, just a great way to get to know each other. That kind of set the tone for the rest of the film.”

She continues, “It was a really good group; Odiseas [Georgiadis, who plays Murph] too — he’s super cool and I’m really excited for him to be discovered. We all bonded very quickly.”

The Perfect Date premieres on Netflix on Friday, April 12th!
