Ashleigh Murray's Josie McCoy Bids Farewell To 'Riverdale'

Ashleigh Murray‘s exit from Riverdale was set up in the latest episode and it was really fitting for Josie McCoy.

In the episode, which also saw Luke Perry‘s final scene, saw Josie perform at a benefit concert which also gets her an invite on her father’s tour.

The tour starts the next day, so Josie is skipping prom with Archie and following her dreams on the road.

If you missed it, Ashleigh is taking Josie to New York in the spinoff, Katy Keene.

While not officially greenlit yet, the series centers on the lives and loves of four iconic Archie Comics characters — including titular fashion-legend-to-be Katy Keene — as they chase their twenty-something dreams in New York City.
