Joe Jonas Is Proud of Sophie Turner for Opening Up About Her Mental Health Struggles

Joe Jonas and Sophie Turner keep giving us reasons to love them.

The 29-year-old singer showed his support for his fiancée during an interview at the 2019 Billboard Music Awards at the MGM Grand Garden Arena on Wednesday (May 1) in Las Vegas.

Sophie recently opened up about her struggles with depression, and Joe couldn’t be more proud of her decision.

“It’s a lot,” Joe told Extra. “I think the best thing about it is she can encourage other young people out there who are going through similar stuff and be a voice that they can listen to… I am proud of her.”

The 23-year-old Game of Thrones actress, who attended the BBMAs alongside Joe, shared her experiences managing her mental health during a recent appearance on Dr. Phil’s Phil in the Blanks podcast.
